Most tech leaders either write code or run the business. I ended up doing both — not by design, but because a lean consulting firm in Manila doesn’t come with a big support team. I admin our Google Workspace, configure our Jira, maintain our servers, built our website, and still help with delivery, marketing, and sales. That’s 10 roles before lunch. So I started building systems to keep up — and that’s how I got deep into AI operations.
